In a heartwarming show of support and celebration, over 100 schoolmates gathered to welcome Aisha Tamba, the 18-year-old wife of renowned Senegalese footballer Sadio Mane, as she returned to school following their recent wedding.

The former Liverpool striker, now playing for Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr, married Tamba in an Islamic ceremony on January 7 in Keur Massar, Dakar, the capital city of Senegal.

The intimate ceremony took place in Aisha’s family home and was attended by close friends and family.

Aisha’s father, Amadou Tamba, shared that his daughter, who is currently studying for her baccalaureate in the town of Mbao, Dakar, caught Mane’s attention over two years ago when she visited his family with her mother.
